Xbox Portable

What do you guys think if microsoft release a Xbox Portible
How much will it cost?
What do you think it will look like?
Give opinions as to why Microsoft would enter the portible market
and if itll be a success?

Zune HD is the most MS is willing to do as far as portable gaming is concerned.

None of those look like good handhelds. Hopefully Microsoft will design something better than that. I do think that it's time for them to make a handheld. Nintendo's done it, Sony's done it, both successfully, I might add. If we had XBL for a handheld, along with the ability to use your GT and get Achievements, I'd get it for sure. The only other thing I'd require is two analog sticks. That's pretty much what kept me from buying a PSP.

If they manage somehow to create a portable console has powerful has the original XBOX and then the possibility to transfer ORIGINAL XBOX games for it would be awesome. Would you imagine been able to play DOOM 3, HALO 2 or Jade Empire everywhere? The competition would be blow away in no time.

well.... to be honest not a valid point.....

Microsoft have almost nothing to do with the Laptop development, they are developing mostly hardware to operate with their operating system, which happens to be the world leading.

One thing that you did say... You could make a full size xbox portable... with ability to use as a normal computer aswell...

All you need is a LED screen, thinner dvd-player and a internal harddrive.

if there's an xbox portable most people i know would crap their pants even I'd buy it! i already have the ds and psp (both modded) as long as it has excellent games plus a free online service would be nice

I hope the Zune HD is a portable game machine as well as media player. I will wait until better models come out next year (with internal speaker, more capacity, and more apps).
