This was anounced a while ago.
Doubt it'll be that good though.
And if it is it'll probably end up on the PS3 with some extra characters or something. That seems to be a patern japanese games have been following lately anyways.

Why would you say that?

The series is a fan favorite in the fighting genre and there's no reason to believe the PS3 would get it. Unless you're a PS3 fanboy.

Well I'm not sure about SNK's ability, in making good 3D games. Who knows though.
If it does turn out good, I think it is likely to be ported over to enjoy further sucess on the PS3.
Its not something I hope for, or care about, but its a pattern that has emerged lately (ToV, SO4, NGSII).

Can't say I was a fan of the original Samurai Showdown games, and I'm not that picky about fighters, which really says something.

I'll probably rent it or something.
