OMG Metro 2033 looks amazing for 360 /PC

This game looks awesome.

From what I hear the developer's 3D graphics engine works so well on the 360 that it looks identical to the PC version.

I read that too. It looked identical even when blown up on a big cinema screen from what they said. Just shows what the 360 can do with the right graphics engine.

Yeps. The graphics look like some of the best I've ever seen too! Possibly as good as Crysis....

It does not matter if the graphics are identical, but if the port to the 360 works. Because of Risen we should now look to all 360\PC games more carefully (I do!),
That's double true if the company is brand new like this one or has not many resources. If thats the case normally its the publisher who finds a team to make the port which normally does not end very well....

What was wrong with Risen? The game never appealed to me so I didn't keep up on it's news.

This developer already has it up and running on 360 so why would a publisher farm it out to another developer to port it? Risen was a situation where there was a situation with the developer. I forget the details so maybe I'll google it later on and post the info.

Besides the typical downgrade of graphics wich i understand the game its full of glitches and shit like that. Heard the controls are all fucked up too...

Just saying man, we all know that this brand new companies likes to focus on one system and them let the others do the dirty job. Happened with Risen and Bayonetta and probably was the reason the PC version of Alan Wake was canned....

What are you talking about. Metro's developers have gone on record saying they are working on the Xbox 360 version along side the PC version. While the PC version is the lead platform everyone who's seen the game has said that the 360 version looks just as good as the PC version even when blown up on a big screen TV.

is it just me or does the fact that its not on the ps3 make this game more appealing?

I think it said that the game is placed 20 yrs after the nuclear blast not 20 yrs after the book timeline.
