Fucking awesome. Already logged 200 hours into it.

I hated it. Almost broke my dualshock against the wall in frustration. But to each his own.

It's not even coming out in my country. But I have no interest in playing it, it just looks shit.

I dont like games too easy or too hard. Demons Souls is way too hard for my tastes. I didnt like Mega Man 8 for the same reason.

yeh i imported it from japan (everything is in full english) its a really good RPG that brings in lots of innovation check out gamespot (was it gamespot?) who gave it goty 2009, they did a 10 min video which outlines all the good stuff about it.

Unless you're playing with only magic, I understand. For anything else, it just requires patience. You can't run at something and swing away. Your shield definitely is your prime tool and to take your time and scavenge is the best plan for you until you learn the game's mechanics.
I'll admit, I died 5-6 times before I learned how to play the game correctly with the fighting system. It's really fucking fun.

Not a fan of JRPGs.

My friend got this game. He said it's not that bad, but many he's a hardcore hack n slasher though lol. I'm a shooter guy so I'm probably gonan stay away from this game. Hell it doesn't look like my type of game anyways.

It looked like an interesting game. I'm a fan of the Zelda series so I'd probably like it, but I don't like games that are too hard. I like a challenge, but I don't like being frustrated. I don't have time to play a level over and over and over. At least let me set the game to easy if your going to make it so hard it takes more dedication and time to master than I can fit into my life.

I heard its too hard so I wont ever buy it.I would much rather play Mass effect or TES IV

Demon's Soul isn't THAT hard, if u figure out how it works (in the first Ng oc, its fucking hard after Ng++) . I think its really underrated, and I already invested like 200 Hrs in it. Please dont judge the game too hard before playing through it once!( lol may take you 60 or more Hours if you are new^^, but still ) As soon as you get used to the difficulty its really fucking rewarding when you send a Boss to Hell!

Me personally, I like a challenge when I play a game. I dont mind having to replay parts of a game because I failed to beat it earlier. But if a game makes me want to throw my controller against a wall then it is a fail in my opinion.

There are some hard passages, but the first playthrough should be possible for everyone who wouldn't describe himself as a casual gamer who plays Tetris all day. It requires some learning at first, but as i said this game is rewarding as hell. Many old games are much harder, but if you are a younger gamer (like i am) who isn't used to games this difficult you will maybe cry a few times in World 5-2 ^^. Jk.

I don't understand why an badass and really brilliant game like Demons Souls isn't as famous as it should be.

Yes, but once you know what will happen the hardest part is strategies when you're fighting.

Anyone who blaims Ps3 exclusives not to be about gameplay and just about graphics and presentation should stfu and play this game first ... seriously. Its like the pure definition of Gameplay.

havent played but i know it cant be better than bioware or bethesdas rpgs

I haven't played it, I just remembered Valve said than on GI so I posted it cause I hear this game is hard.
