Halo 3 Or Halo ODST?

im just asking which game is better.since i am new to the halo franchise also.ive beaten halo 2 and halo 1.so is it better to get halo 3 or halo odst FIRST??

I currently don't own ODST, Just Halo 3. I think Halo odst would be better to get because you can play the Reach beta and you get all of the Halo map packs that you would usually pay for, for free.

If you really want to play Halo 3's campaign though, then go for Halo 3 first then Halo Odst.

It is kind of irrelevant to tell you the truth... Maybe you should get ODST first, since it showcases some of the moments between Halo 2 and Halo 3, not to mention you get the complete package of maps for the Halo 3 multiplayer. Plus, it's cheaper.

hmm i want to follow the story of the halo franchsie as it goes.so im thinking about getting odst first

ODST is a garbage game, but it comes with Halo 3's awesome multiplayer, plus all of the maps, and there's a beta for Halo: Reach. If you don't own Halo 3, then ODST is a good deal (albeit for a terrible campaign). Then rent Halo 3 because it has the same exact multiplayer.

ODST wasnt garbage.Terible campaign?Cmon man.It was fricken awesome.Thats why it kept getting 9/10 on most review sites.

if you want to fet into the deep story side of halo read the books, graphics novels watch legends, it's as epic if more epic than star wars, and i say halo odst first, halo 3 is epic but with the content of odst id get that, firefight is awesome,

I have both. Both are great. Neither is better.

ODST doesnt really have anything to do with the Master Chief storyline. I would recommend finishing Halo 3 first

Well,it honestly depends on what he wants.If he wants more backstory then get Halo ODST.If he just wants to concentrate on the main character's story(MC),then get Halo 3.

Halo 3. I like feeling like a Spartan than an ODST, but both are great games.

Yeah but there enough games were you are just a "normal" soldier.....Thats why being a 7ft super soldier was badass!

Halo ODST is honestly my favorite Halo(and game)ever.I love ODST's.Well,Halo Reach will soon take it place
