Sony copies yet another Xbox Live feature

They are going to copy MS Games on demand feature now. Sony still playing catch up to Live. Propably so they can eventually start charging. Cant Sony come up with their own ideas?

LOL, PSN will always be playing catch up to XBOX Live. Whenever Sony copies Live, their version is always inferior.

although they did copy the feature but i think its just to get people use to the idea of downloading games so then if next gen consoles have downloadable games you are use to it already

An easy way for Sony fans to see what's new/coming to PSN is to just look at what Xbox Live has, you know in time Sony will just copy Xbox again. I have lost so much respect for Sony this Gen they have been completly unoriginal, I guess it just easier to follow than lead.

I think its Sony's ongoing attempt to get PSN on par with Live so they can eventually start charging for it.

They've had download games for a while now. What are you talking about? PS1 and PS3 games have been available on the PSN like Warhawk and Twisted Metal 2.

Yeah, the downloadable version of Warhawk (The PS3 one) has been out since 2007.

I didn't see anything in that article that says they're going to copy games on demand. I actually thought offering full retail games for download was the one thing they did before xbox. WarHawk and Burnout Paradise have been on the PSN for a long time.

Try reading the article again. Start with the part that says Sony talks "Games on demand." And wow 2 whole PS3 games have been digitally distributed compared to how many 360 games?

WTF are YOU talking about? How many PS3 games have we seen digitally distributed besides Burnout and Warhawk? And Wipeout HD was a PSN game so really there have only been 2 PS3 games on bluray that were later put on PSN for download.

360 has about 20 games don't they? I was just saying PSN has had them for a while. I'm well aware that xbox has more though.

Something like that. Maybe more. But they are priced way too high. I can get them used at Gamestop for way less. MS needs to come back down to earth with those prices.

lol well Sony started it but never made it a successful thing. Microsoft made good use of it and put decent games up as Games on Demand and now Sony are trying to do the same.
Different companies borrow different things, the thing is that most of Sony's things don't turn out so good until the competition makes good use of it.

Also how can Games on Demand on PS3 be superior, if say you wanna download Metal Gear Solid 4. How much data will it take to fill the hard-drive. See what I mean.
