| Halo 3 is rated M....LMAO! the ESRB is so garbage. Honestly, who can't take a little alien blood? There is a game for my PS1 called Legacy of Kain, it is rated Teen. If that game was made now it'd get an M on the spot. | |

| Wasnt Uncharted 2 rated T and that has a lot more blood than Halo 3. ESRB is really flawed and i know that even though its not in my country. | |

| I have no problem with the ESRB. Until your a a legal adult you only have the right to play the games your parents let you. That's life. Nobody said life's fair when your a kid. There are plenty of T and lower games that a tons of fun and you can always explain to your parents why you believe an M rated game is OK for you.
The ESRB system is no different from the Movie Rating system. It's in place to protect kids from themselves and to let good parents stay on top of things. Is it perfect? No. Does it stop a 10 year old from playing ManHunt without parental consent? Yes, and that's all that matters.

The ESRB simply helps to avoid all the stuff that gets blamed on videogames when imature kids are influenced by them. That way, the parents are the only ones to blame in the matter, as it should be.

| In my opinion the only games that should be Rated M are ones that frequently use swear words and have full nudity. Not this "partial nudity" garbage that the anti-game people stamp on games that show people in their underwear.
I had to tell a kids mom at Gamestop today that Brutal Legend had no Nudity even though the Rating had "partial nudity" on it.
Most M Rated games would be considered PG-13 if they were movies.

Most M Rated games would be considered PG-13 if they were movies. I think violence has more to do with M-Rated games than anything. Since most games are violent the really violent or realistic ones get the M-Rating. Sex, nudity, adult themes, etc just seal the deal.

Mass Effect, its not that violent.Just a shooter. It doesnt even have body sparts being blown off in it. You know whats funny, they rate Halo 3 M when in a T shooter like the conduit, you can blow aliens heads of in it and youll see lots of alien bood pouring from its deimembered head.
