I'm playing M.A.G on my 360

lol ok not really but I bought Frontlines: Fuel Of War the other day and I was amazed at the similarities.
Ok fine, you only get around 50 players per server but the maps aren't as big as M.A.G's and so you're not exploring miles of barren wastelands waiting for the odd person to pop up, you're actually in action quite frequently. There are like no campers and what I love is that there are loads of vehicles. Seriously you can fly planes, choppers and drive stuff like tanks!!
OH! And there's a storyline & single player campaign too! xD

It's actually really good and I've had pretty much no lag.

I don't know if the game's well known or not, it's pretty old but I've been in matches with 50 other players and there's still been several other games open with around 20 or 30 players.
So yeah, if you're disappointed that only Ps3 owners get the open world massively multiplayer fps by the name of M.A.G, pick this game up for around £5 pre-owned at your nearest game store like I did and you'll see there's no reason to be disappointed.

Frontlines is a good game. And it also has way better graphics than MAG.

I heard the single player campaign was just a the MP maps with bots and a bit of a story to tie it together.

Better graphics? Really? I didn't think FFOW graphics are that good...then again I've only ever seen M.A.G in real life once and that was peering through a crowd of people at Eurogamer Expo.

That's true and it's definitely better than MAG. I just prefer single player focused games like Halo. Bungie crafts amazing story driven action games and then builds a kick ass multiplayer to go with it.

Same with me.I dont enjoy game's close as much if they dont have a good story.Halo is my most favorite story so far.

You need to buy yourself an HDTV. Dump that SDTV youre using. lol
Frontlines uses Unreal 3 engine and does so quite well. MAG looks like a hi-def PS2 game.

Yeah, I sent him a pm about that. Hes been spamming the forum quite a bit as of late.

Sequel is on PS3. Its releasing March.

Plot:

NK took over the US while China and Russia(Red Star) distracted the Allies in Europe. now you fight as a local, trying to rid the USA of the NK threat.

My uncle has it, i've borrowed it from time to time. And the game runs on dedicated servers also, so there's almost no lag.

its a great game.

MAG much like Haze, should be one of those titles we try and forget or imagine never happened because I'm embarrassed for Sony that they released these 2 POS titles as 'games' for the system.

PS3 has MAG and 360 has Huxley(which has a campaign)

Don't ban me for this but the 360 version was put on indefinite hold, and its an MMO which means no campaign.

I think I heard something like that also. The 360 version being canned. Although on wikipedia it says put on "indeterminate hold" weather or not thats technically the same thing Im not sure.
