Thoughts on new GOW 3 footage?

i felt it looked really good, but i laugh at all these "looks like a ps4 game" claims.. from what iv seen its again a heavily scripted event.
nonetheless it looks great.

i noticed sony is tricking alot of people, so far there last 3 graphical powerhouses are very scripted games, but it fools people so i guess it works.

Yeah thats the big difference they only bash games like halo etc. because they 360 exclusives

Because we are confident in our own system and acknowledge when the opposition gets something impressive, but because they are so butthurt and suffer from "buyer's remorse" so they lack the ability to do the same. And the fall from first place makes them delusional lol. If there's anything I'm looking forward to it's Twisted Metal 5.

Im sure God of War is impressive.But im not a button masher fan(that's just my preference).I would take Halo over any PS3 game.

It looks good, but I don't care for button mashers. Besides it only can look good becuase the gameplay is so restricted it can put more resources into graphics.

the developers on GTTV said that GOW 3 will not be a button massher anymore apparently.

The hades bit caught my attention. Im gonna have to buy this game after my May & June exams or else this game will make me not concertrate lol

Really, that's interesting becuase it was never anything more than pretty graphics and button mashing. If they change that fans won't be happy. How do you take the mutton mashing out of a mutton masher? I don't think you can. That's like taking the shooter out of a First Person Shooter.

Maybe he was talking about the QTEs, maybe they threw those out.

No one can deny that this game looks truly epic. I can't wait to get it.

lol well that's what i heard. The guy's like haha, they can try pressing square, square triangle as much but they are going to have to switch weapons during combos on different enemies

Throwing in another button doesn't change it from being a button masher. You just have to mash more buttons. lol

Ive seen the god of War 3 trailer's.It still does look liek a button masher.

I agree. God Of War is pretty badass to be fair. And Kratos is an awesome character anyone would want representing their console but like you said, button-mashers and just hack n' slashers in general usually don't appeal to me. I still haven't completed God Of War Chains Of Olympus on EASY and I'm a psp fanboy! lol

Well i played the demo and honestly the gameplay is 99% similar to the previous GoW games. So if people call it a button masher on the previous titles, this one, GoW III will be no different.

Either way, yes i saw the footage on GTTV and kicks alot, and i mean alot of ass.
I'm a huge fan of GoW franchise and this 3rd title is a day one buy to me.

God of War on easy? That sucks balls.... God of War in terms of difficulty its the easiest one around. Anyone can beat the game on Normal with no sweat.

This game is looking amazing, I'm trying to decide whether to get this, Just Cause 2 or Red Steel 2.

The game does look pretty epic but the gameplay is just like everyone said, a button masher.
We've already had plenty of those this year. I've heard a lot of people say that they rather Bayonetta over God of war 3

Looks great but its still just a button masher with a pretty coat of paint.
