That's because shovelware generally tries to follow popular game styles and fails in the process. Deadly premonition is it's own game. There is no game out there quite like it.

Look, ninety nine nights 2 was straight up bad.. It wasn't funny, it wasn't even cheesy or anything. It was just a grind... seriously repetitive and uninteresting. You're better off playing Castlevania or God Of War.

Deadly premonition, it has flaws but they make it laughable because the game isn't broken, it's not repetitive and let's face it... no other game has you playing as a guy with a split personality who he calls Zach

How can you say that when it isn't out yet?

I mean, based off of the gamestop video demonstration it looks like it works. It's just not very appealing.
