Yeah Sony does, but Insomniac can still release a multiplat if it's a new IP or an IP Sony doesn't controll.

| It will be on new Insomniac IP's as sony have the rights for Resistance and Ratchet and Clank series. But any new IP from Insomniac would be top draw as they do make quality games.
This much in the same way Bungie is going Multiplat after Halo Reach more and more developers who are not 1st party will start doing this as they can make more money this way getting to a wider audience. And it you think about with both Xbox360 and PS3 install base put together you are looking at somewhere around 70 to 80 Million systems instead of about half that if you go exclusive on one platform. Makes sense

Makes sense Yeah. It's going to be interesting to see if MS pays out the ass to partner with Bungie for their next IP. Much like SOny with Resistance and Ratchet, it would be in MS's best interest to keep the Bungie name attacked to the Xbox brand, even if they aren't 1st party.

Indeed, MS need to have developer like Bungie making games for them exclusively, if I have got one issue with MS it is the fact they Don't have more 1st Party developers where Sony has load, that is the one thing in Sony's favour. Also Quantum Dreams who created Heavy Rain have stated that there next release will be Multiplat also so it is becoming a trend in the Game Industry.

Yeah, as an independent it's a smart move for Insomniac to to multiplat. There is just so much more money available. I'm sure they'll still make at least one more Resistant for PS3, but after that I'd be willing to bet they'll go full on multiplat.

lol either way id be a victory No, they are 3rd party dev, that has perfered to work on games exclusive to Playstation consoles. As for everything, I think its false, since 2 of their favorite and most inspiring devs are ND and Sucker Punch(They said so mid last year).

They are great games, but if they go multiplat Ratchet and Clank and Resistance won't come over to Xbox sadly as they are property of Sony. It will be a new IP, much like Bungie not bringing Halo to the PS3.
