Killzone 2.5

lol remember when L4D2 was announced shortly after L4D1 and ps3 fanboys kept calling it L4D 1.5
and when they got butthurt about how awesome Halo 3 is so they called it Halo 2.5
and now they're calling Halo Reach, Halo 3.5
and so on...

Well I think it's time they got a taste of their own medicine!

Killzone 2 was about 3 or 4 years in development or something right? It came out in late 2009. I think I read Killzone 3 is coming out in 2011. Well I doubt that in that time they would make any changes to the game engine or anything. They'll probably just focus on making new maps and sorting out the f**** up controls.
So perhaps we should begin calling that game Killzone 2.5. I think that would really piss the brownies off. It would be pretty damn funny if we suddenly did what they did; act as if it's irrelevant, sweep it underneath the rug, pretend it doesn't matter, just call it Killzone 2.5 to emphasise how insignificant it is. lol

i half agree with you DDD,but that was fanboyish ..noone knows how killzone 3 will look,did you know that the development for killzone 2 ended december 2008? and before that,they already started thinking on killzone 3.i think it wont be different like the jump from killzone 1 to killzone 2.but i think its going to be different than killzone 2.but anyway yes if its going to piss of the ps3 fanboys,i would be happy to call it killzone 2.5

Fair enough but look how different Halo 3 is to Halo Reach. There's been a huge leap between them. The whole gameplay's been changed!
The game mechanics are different, the abilities are different, the weapons are redesigned, the characters are new, the story's obviously new, the location's new, the graphics are improved, etc
Yet ps3 fanboys still call Reach, Halo 3.5!

Killzone 2 is honestly the worst game ive played this generation. I just can't stand it and ive tried over and over to get into it but I just can't.

i know what you mean..but yeah we should call it killzone 2.5 because when i was a ps3 fanboy,everyone called halo 3 a halo 2.5 and the same with reach,if they say bad things about halo reach,we will do the same for killzone 3

Killzone 3 will be killzone 2.1 if they don't change the controls, if they DO, then we can give credit, and love the game. Halo "Reach"will destroy it though.

3 years is alot of time .....

just make fun of them for being all hype and no $$$ when the game comes out

Half of them dont buy the game its really sad that tells you half the ps3 market isnt even in it for games.

Killzone 2.5 sounds like a great way to piss off brownies on youtube when they say Halo 3.5, but other than as a retort I don't think we should go nuts about it like they do.

Sony realized 2-3 yrs is the perfect time to release a sequel and make bank.

Killzone 2 was released in February. So early 2009, just saying. But fanboys will be fanboys, they can't accept the compitition having a good game. Multi console FTW

well it will obviously take em less time since they already got the engine to work with and they have already worked with the hardware, killzone 2 was guerrillas first ps3 game and i think they did a pretty good job considering that most developers stated how hard it was to develop for, they also did a pretty big leap going from killzone to killzone 2, and im not just talking about graphics.

Yes I do think Halo is the best.Not only does it have a great story,it reinvented an entire genra.It isnt everyday you see a game do that

I checked his Ip and it seems that he changed it slightly.He still is from the same location.I also Pm'd him 3 times to discuss the matter but he hasnt replied back at all

Onlyablurayplayer was agreed on to get banned(so dont you guys just blame it on me).So he has broken a rule and I have a reason to ban him right now.But I have given him 3 warnings.I will be discussing it with a mod

Killzone 2 came out in January 2009 a little correction there So if Killzone 3 came out in 2011 maybe the same time Q1 then they would have 2 years to make the changes they wanted as they have the engine.

Uncharted 1 came out in late 2007 they had 2 years to make changes and they boosted the score from the mid 80s to 94 which is decent !

I think I cleared that up
