| This game and Peace Walker are making me want a psp - Quote :
- Sony has lifted the curtains on a brand spanking new chapter in the God of War series for PSP – God of War: Ghost of Sparta.
Due out later this year exclusively on Sony’s portable wonder, Ghost of Sparta once again signals the return of bald-headed hero Kratos, with the game serving as a prequel to the franchise, picking up after the events of the original God of War.
According a post on the EU PlayStation Blog, the game tells the “story of Kratos’ ascension to power as the God of War. In his quest to rid the nightmares that haunt him, Kratos must face his dark past to prove his worthiness to the Gods — a journey that will reveal the origins of lost worlds, and finally answer long-awaited questions about Kratos’ tattoo, scar, and family. Armed with the deadly chained Blades of Chaos, he will once again have to overcome armies of mythological monsters, legions of undead soldiers, and amazingly dangerous and brutal landscapes throughout his merciless quest.”
As you might have guessed, the project is being helmed by Ready at Dawn, the studio responsible for bringing us the excellent and viscerally satisfying God of War: Chains of Olympus. Furthermore, the developers are promising an improved weapons system, fresh magic attacks, plus jaw-dropping visuals, which are expected to push Sony's trusty slab to its limits.

| I'm so tired of Sony releasing screenshots that look nothing like the way games look on a PSP. Those shots are way too big meaning they are a higher resolution than the final game and PSP games always look grainy. These shots are complete bullshit. Just another example of Sony lies. | |

| Well you see people, Ninja Gaiden requires something called: Skill. God of War may be fun and pretty to look at, but you don't really require any skill to beat it. | |

Im sure the developers are not trying to make some kind of impossible to beat game that requires only very skilled players to be able to beat the game, if you want a challenge simply play the game on the hardest level. The game is fun right? you said it. Ive played through GOW and GOW2 many times. Any Ninja Gaiden game ive played i only played em once and then i sold em.

Yeah Gow is fun, but Ninja Gaiden is more fun, and is a more hardcore game. Like normal mode on Ninja Gaiden is as hard as Titan mode on Gow lol (or whatever is the hardest difficulty on Gow 3 cause I've only played the first 2). Ninja Gaiden is the king of hack and slash IMO, very challenging especially on the harder difficulties, and is fun too. Gow is good, but it's a cake walk, i have more difficulty on the puzzles than actual combat.

| I agree that its more hardcore since the game does take more skills to play, normal mode was pretty challenging to me but not as challenging as the hardest mode on GOW, i wuldnt even dare try the hardest difficulty on Ninja Gaiden. GOW is just more popular i gess cause its easier to play, but thats what the developers wanted, a game easy enough for anyone to pick up and play but dynamic enough for the skilled to stand out from the noobs. | |

That depends on what level you're playing it on. I'm personally overjoyed that god of war games aren't as difficult as ninja gaiden. I can't stand them.
