XP vs Vista vs Win7

I have a XP,it got a virus

Oh. Mine runs on Windows 7. Windows 7 is extremely hard to get a virus on..

Yeah, I've had Windows 7 for about two months now and I can't be happier. Although I had to mod the start menu becuase I hate scrolling through programs. Luckily there's an easy to install little app that makes it more like the XP start menu. It also adds the little UP arrow on folder windows so you can move up through directories like in XP. As great as Windows 7 is I don't understand why they felt the need to make the start menu scroll, it isn't simpler it takes longer to look through my nearly 100 programs I have installed.

So true. Its really annoying but I'v learned to put up with it. If I can put up with 8 buttons on my mouse, I can put up with that n,n

well i have W7 now i had vista before ....
W7 is way better....
and XP is my nightmare

or you could download Classic Shell and make your start menu more like the XP one.

If you like scrolling through your start menu then good for you, but I hate it. There are nearly a hundred items in my start menu and it would take forever to scroll through it to find what I want. XP's "pages' let you scan your eyes over the whole list and easy target what you want. It takes much less time to find and execute a program, this I assure you.

dude i never have to and in software and hardware combined my pc is worth over 20000 SEK

It's called, AVG & Peerguardian 2, and I NEVER have viruses with any of the OSs.

ive only had xp and vista and so far my vista hasnt got a virus. ive have my vista for a year and 4 months. my xp has had so many viruses and even without the viruses its slow. ive had xt for 3 years and 4 months i clean it up all the time and it is constantly slow.

I honestly don't think Vista was as bad as people said it was. However Windows 7 is a hell of a lot better and is one of the best OS's in a long time.

if you are careful what sites you browse, you will never get a virus

and 7 > XP > Vista

20000 SEK = about £1700, i'm guessing he's a PC gamer, though you can build a PC for gaming for less then a grand if you look around

i can see your point but only the hardware cost 10.000 SEK
thats around 1000 dollars i think
and i have pirated alot of programs that cost way more then what i got it for
so i can sell it double up if i do
(i know it seems unlikley) but you dont have to belive me which makes sense sicne it is alot of money

vista is fuckin amazing if you know how to use which 90 precent of the people dont....
using Xp isnt even half as great as vista and vista isnt even half as great as windows 7 which i use now

vista is for the guys who knows computer like their own pockets
a teacher in my school knows almost everything there is to know bout pcs he said Xp is for gaming and other ''fun'' things
vista is fir workers and people who got the know how
i use vista he said
