What PS3 fans argue about is what they don't know about. Alan Wake takes full advantage of the X360's architecture. Producing the same exact results would be alot harder on the PS3.


The Xenos can use atleast half its RAM for texture storing, but the RSX has to use RAM for framebuffers and AA and other processes since it isn't as efficient. Texture storing on RAM and texture storing on disc capacity is at a 1:100 ratio. That means it would take 25.6 GBs for space on a Blu-ray disc (256 MB RAM X 100). Plus redundant game assets, which would require another 6-7 GBs. And data duplication for faster load times. Alan Wake would have filled up most of the space on the Blu-ray disc.

This is why MGS4 took an unnecessary 50 GBs of space as well.

The reason why Red Dead Redemption looks worse on the PS3 is because Rockstar is too lazy to work on a machine that is coded differently than the things they usually work on, ie a japanese machine.

I mean, I love my precious Xbox but I do not deny that the PS3 has the better hardware and better graphical possibilities.

It's good that Final Fantasy is going multiplat. It gives the gaijin a nice taste of Nipponese superiority. RDR multiplat is not important, it is made by pig fat gaijin scum.

So you're saying that it's all Rockstar's fault that the game didn't run as it should've on the ps3? So the fact that Sony gave their system a difficult architecture to develop for had nothing to do with it?

Don't make me laugh, Rockstar aren't lazy. The game has amazing, high ratings. Everyone agrees the game's a masterpiece. Rockstar were not lazy, it's entirely Sony's fault.
