Mass Effect 2 is very glitchy on the PC, but to be fair L4D 1 and 2 are actually better on the PC. But who cares anyways, they pay more to get an extra resolution boost. Woo.

Mods don't make a game better. If we're talking about a game, it should just be the game (the story, gameplay, and more stuff). Also I can never play mods, they feel so unauthentic and I prefer playing how the game it is.

Agreed. One of the only games that is better with mods is Counter Strike, that game is built around mods! Hell, actually that game is a mod...

The multi-plats are interesting on the PC cuz of mods and graphics. I just played Saints Row 2 with some mods at a friends house and that shit was fucking hilarious. Thing that would most certain get me banned from XBL.
At the end of the day i really like PC gaming.

I guess the PC fanboys are those who never could get away from the platform cuz of that nostalgia. I would be the same if i didn't need to spend a shitload of money 2 or 3 years constantly just to play this age games at is best.

After my 3rd PC upgrade i quit.

I agree with davemastakill. Pc gaming was the shizz. It still is but not being able to play my old games and having to upgrade just put me off. Consoles are the way to go.

I know, same here. I also detest digital distribution. They're overpriced usually, I'd rather have the physical copy and it's just generally not as cool imo.

I wasnt that big of a gamer in the late 90's. I've only ever played the likes of Duke Nukem, Doom and Quake on the PC.
And the only RTS I liked was Ages of Empires II. Now that was the shit. As for online play, I never had the internet back then.

The reason I started this thread is because everyone thinks that PC version of multi-plats are ALWAYS superior, when in fact they are not. No other reason.

I hope you guys are not serious, right? Multi plats if on PC, is almost always superior to the console versions, just like how X360 is to the PS3.

PC essentially gets everything, good controls (M&KB), amazing services (Steam, servers rather than P2P connection), and better graphics as long as your system can support it.

The mouse and keyboard is opinion, I like controllers better (unless its an RTS or something like that) and the reviews show that more people like the console version.

Okay, so the PC version gets a lower score. But it doesn't mean that the PC version is worse. Some magazines only gives exclusive reviews to a certain platform, such as OXM. Hell, sometimes PS3 multi-plats even outscore 360 ones because of their exclusive reviewers.

The point is, multi-plats are mostly better on PC, and it doesn't really matter, because better multi-plats is essentially all the PC has. Devs are mostly not supporting PC anymore because of the piracy and such. Even the Crysis franchise is going to consoles, there's no contest between PC and consoles anymore.
