Let's be rational for a minute: PS+/Xbox Live Comparison

Definitely has potential to be pretty cool as well $50 for 15 months. That comes out to $3.33 a month. It's a bit more expensive per month than Xbox Live, but not terribly so. The main reason I signed up for PS+ was that it, like Xbox Live, delivers free games to play every month. I played the PSP wipeout and never got around to playing Wipeout HD because it was too expensive. It's pretty fun. I just hope Sony can keep up the momentum.

Xbox Live

In all honesty you can buy Xbox live for much cheaper than retail or Playstation + for that matter. Last year I bought mine for $28 for 13 months. That comes out to $2.15 a month for some pretty cool features. I like being able to talk to my friends while I play online, no matter what game everyone is in. I love how everything is automatically downloaded while I sleep. I love not seeing any ads on the dashboard. And it was a great move on Microsoft's part to let everyone who was in Xbox Live Gold to try out Reach for free. I could not be happier with Xbox Live.

When it comes down to it, both premium services offer plenty to gamers at very little cost.

I still don't like the idea of paying for a rental service where Sony dictate what I can have.

But it's not a terrible deal I suppose.

If Live had Last FM support over here in Eire, I may take the plunge. Was really looking forward to that Sad

lol phailstation fanboyz have to pay for online now. what kind of stupid retrads would actualy pay every month for that/ they must all have turrets or or something. another glorious victoryy for the xbros!! cheers
