THE STORY
the story is about 150 years in the future,you play as monkey,he wakes up in a slave ship,and sees a human girl overloading the ship controls and makes the ship to crash,but before that,monkey somehow escapes from his cell and tries to escape the ship from a pod,he finally reaches the last one but the human girl who he saw when he woke up was in the pod,he was screaming at her to open the cockpit so he can enter but the girl launches the pod and they both fly away from the ship just before it crashes.When monkey woke up,he saw he had a headband on his head and the human girl sitting the other side,he asks the human girl about why theres a slave headband on his head,she explains that she put the headband so he can protect her to reach her village that is 300 miles from where they are,and what do you know,they crashed at the new york metro station...They are actually in post-apocalyptic new york city.Monkey takes the no BS and tries to grab the girl but she can control the headband that monkey wears and makes his head feel painful,after that she says that if he dies,she also dies,with no turning back and no choice,monkey accepts to get her home.Thats for the story,im not going to explain more of it because its spoilers.The story is the strongest aspect in the game,its gripping,its deep and the voice acting is freaking phenomenal,its one of the best voice acting in any videogames ive seen in my life.If you are going to get this game,you are getting this for the story..

THE GRAPHICS
the graphics are excellent in my opinion,the world in this game is beautiful,that maybe sounds weird because its post-apocalyptic and noone is living but in a way it looks beautiful,the mechs look great and some of them are totally kick-ass like the dog and later theres a giant scorpion mech at the end of the game.the art design in this game is spectacular and the characters and their emotions and their movements during the cutscenes is realistic,the only problem is that the graphics on a lot of occasions look kinda oily,i cant really explain this but the graphics look really horrible sometimes and theres slowdowns between the cutscenes

THE GAMEPLAY
now the gameplay..its the weakest part in the game..not that its bad or anything,its kinda where the game really downgrades and thats why for me this game is going to get a lower score than the last segments..the gameplay consists of two things,platforming and brawling.the platforming is excellent,its fluid its fast and when you think its way too easy,in the later levels you will get obstacles and its more difficult.the brawling is the weakest part in the game in my opinion,its boring,you will do mostly the same combos over and over again and its boring till the last enemy,your staff also has plasma.plasma shoots electric shock to a enemy that can stun him and also it can destroy him,the shooting is deent and sometimes it doesnt hit the enemy..you can also upgrade your weapons and armor,health and all kinds of stuff by finding some orange balls that you can find in the game,and trust me there are alot of those..the biggest problem with this game i have is with trip (the human girl) she is mostly the time worthless,you have to protect her,she is somewhat useful like upgrading your stuff and also making a distraction to the enemies that can shoot you,but you also have to help her like throwing her higher to reach some ledge or shielding her from your enemies,she is really a pain in the neck a lot but at least she can make a emp if the enemies get to her and you can kick their ass,the game also has epic chases,but they are really short,not to mention there arent a lot of boss fights and theres like 3 bosses in the whole game..you also have something called "cloud" which is like a blue forcefield on your feet but its not forcefield its like a vehicle that you can move way faster and its used for boss fights and also chases,its responsive but sometimes its way too fast..the gameplay of this game is a mixed bag and its bad compared to the other segments,its not bad at all,its still good but not great or amazing

FUN FACTOR
this game is actually pretty fun,it maybe is a bit boring at the first 2 or 3 chapters and sometimes its repetitive after you play this game a lot,but the story and the graphics are amazing,eventhough the gameplay isnt great,i think its still a worthy pickup and you are going to have a blast in this game,some people may like the gameplay more but its still a great game that i think you should pick it up,this game also has a decent lenght time which is around 8-10 hours which is not short and not long in my opinion,but the biggest downside in this game is that it doesnt have a big replay value,after you beat this game,you really dont need to go back unless you want the achievements and want to collect everything in the game and upgrade everything
