And especially when the company making the game has the work force and sufficient monetary support to make that happen. There really is NO EXCUSE for what happened to Black Ops. Its activisions choice which console will have the better version.Its activisions game and if they dont like that their console has an inferior version, they should have just returned it.

Funny thing is, actvision doesnt NEED AN EXCUSE for this.They can make whatever they want and dont need to say why.If these guys dont liek it, then they shouldnt buy the game.And it wouldnt matter because these guys(or pretty much ps3 cod players) are in the minority

These guys also need to realize WHY the 360 version is better and not what sony tells them.Having a console with a strong cell processor or blu-ray does not mean its multiplats will be better than the 360's counterpart.

They didn't intentionally make the 360 version better, they have time restraints and couldn't get the PS3 version up to par, that's it.

Instead of asking why their version is inferior, they should be asking themselves whether they'd rather wait longer for the game when the xbox version is already out, just so it can be on-par with it.

no company is perfect. its our choice to accept the flaws and focus on the good.

They don't know shit about hardware or how software works.

COD games on consoles have to sacrifice things like HD resolution for a consistant 60 FPS.

It maybe Treyarchs fault for not optimizing the PS3 version but the PS3 is partly to blame for it's memory issues.

Oh okay so when a game like FFXIII looks like shit on the X360 compared to the PS3 it's the hardwares fault and not the developer's fault but when it's the other way around it's the developer's fault? Bullshit. It's not like the PS3 and the Xbox 360's are extremely similar. When designing middleware game engines it's not so black and white to make it work for both platforms.

THOSE can easily be found and taken care of with proper testing of the product.

That's why beta's are made and video game testers are hired. If neither are integrated into the development of the game, then its up to the devs to play their game whilst they develop it. But making betas and hiring testers cost MONEY, and companies like Activision (even though they HAVE the cash to do so) refuse to do such things because they're money grubbing pieces of shit that don't care about delivering a quality product to the consumers. When the testing is left to the devs alone, that can lead to laziness, and Black Ops and MW2 (and TONS of other games) really showcase that.

I agree, but the petition was largely about the small differences in visuals and frame rate rather than the glitches.
