for all you people saying Microsoft has no games in 2011. Well eat your words, because Microsoft has more new Ip games to counter that statement.
Codename Kingdoms Project Draco Dust Elysian Tale Owlboy Grey Matter Haunt Rise of Nightmares Codename D Fantastic Pets Star Wars Gun Loco X-Com The First Templar HYBRID Battle Block Thater Twisted Shadow Planet

Alot of them aren't new IPs but they are pretty new for this generation. Change is always welcome.

It was said to be a reboot and totally different from the old Xcom PC game, so its kind of a new IP.

No not the strategy classics like Terror of the deep.
The new X-com is a FPS.

Should we really count Star Wars??? The IP has been abused since 1978 with the release of the star wars Xmas special, not to mention the latest games that have come out of it are horrible like TFU(1 and 2) and the portable Battlefront games.

Well people talked about the Force Unleashed as a new IP so you could count Kinect Star Wars as a new IP

Yeah I guess but for all we know it could just be based on one of the films, or just a partial spinoff.

Most of these are third party exclusives, and Kinect games at that.
Gears of War Codename Kingdoms Project Draco - Kinect Dust Elysian Tale - And XNA indie title that's also going to PC Owlboy - Another BXLA Indie title Grey Matter - PC Port of a point and click adventure title from the maker of the Gabriel Knight series. Haunt - Kinect Rise of Nightmares - Kinect Codename D - Kinect Fantastic Pets - Kinect Star Wars - Kinect Gun Loco - Timed exclusive. And name one 3rd person action game by Squeenix that HASN'T sucked dick. X-Com - PC port FPS remake of a decade old strategy game. And it's 2K so this too is likely a timed exclusive. The First Templar - An Enslaved/Ico clone PC port made by a never head of 'em company in Bulgaria called Haemimont Games, whose parent company is an IT contract provider, LOL. HYBRID - XBLA 3rd person shooter from the makers of Scribblenauts... Wait, WHAT? LOL. Watch the video. The battle armor looks like the guy from Vanquish had a fugly baby the Clockwork Knight. Battle Block Theater - An XBLA puzzler. Cause God knows there ain't enough of those! Twisted Shadow Planet - A PC Port XBLA shooter based on cartoon shorts shown on Nickelodeon.
Also
Feelplus RPG - You quoted an article that was posted in january of 2010 about the company looking to hire a developer for an xbox 360 RPG. This lists nothing about when the game is coming out, and if they were hiring less than a year ago, I highly doubt you're gonna see what ever they are working on before mid to late 2012.
Sarbakan Game Studio Shooter - No firm release date or details of any kind and it's coming in 2011?
Bilson of THQ making core Kinect title - Same as above?
So Gears, Kingdoms, a shitload of casual Kinect games and hardcore kinect games that will fail, some indie XBLA titles and a handful of PC ports and timed exclusives. Holy shit, better dust off my 360!
Just look at this:
Little Big Planet 2 Uncharted 3 Resistance 3 Killzone 3 DC universe Online - pc port Infamous 2 The Agency (possibly) Ar Tonelico III Final Fantasy XIV (which I likely will not buy) - pc port Free Realms - pc port The Last Guardian Ico/Shadow Collection Motorstorm Apocalypse No More Heroes: heroes paradise Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One Twisted Metal White Knight Chronicles 2 Yakuza 4 SOCOM 4 Trinitiy: Souls of Zill O'll
And none of these are PSN titles.
Now here's some move only games that have been confirmed thus far:
Ape Escape Move Heroes Sorcery Virtua tennis 4
So 20 exclusive titles in 2011 not including Move games or PSN titles, and that's just what's been officially announced, and also doesn't include annual sports exclusives like NBA or MLB.
Oh and Gothic 4's coming to PS3 in March so there's another 2010 exclusive you lost, albeit a shitty one.
It's too early to tell, since delays caused this year to be a lot closer between the two than it should have been, but as of right now, it's pretty one sided.

ok. but i guess the idea is that more is better i presume?
in which case 360 has way more A, AA, AAA so I guess ps3 has every motivation to catch up. this is their year in 2011 (exclusives wise, not necessarily business wise) but like always games will flop and games will be delayed.
not to mention with Halo reach and COD and games like crysis 2 and gears 3...none of those shooters interest me personally.
just saying, ps3 will "win" in the list wars, but its not like 360 just has gears 3 and forza 4.
"Holy shit, better dust off my 360!"
i personally dont feel the need to own a ps3. you on the other hand feel u need a 360 (and made multiple purchases at that). dust or no, u gave MS your money and that is a 360 win no matter how u slice it

So quick to brush off Kinect... This industry is full of surprises and we should all wait to see what happens.

Thanks for this list, man. You must've spent a lot of time getting links for every single one of these games. Btw I'm excited about Feelplus' rpg. I wonder if it'll be something good.

Well when it was stolen I was just gonna sell the games off and use the insurance money for more PS3 games instead but then the editor at the site I wrote for suggested I replace the 360 because they wanted me doing reviews for all platforms. With no more than I play it I could get along fine without it were it not for that.
Of course, I could conversely say that from a personal perspective you shouldn't be touting all those wonderful AAA games because unless you've gone on a huge buying splurge recently I'm the only one between the two of us who has them all and can actually speak about whether they're really worthy of the number rating they got. XD
Oh and by the way, add Tomb Raider HD Collection to that list, just announced as a PS3 exclusive for 2011 LOL

@7th
Gears of War 3 Codename D Project Draco Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor Rise of Nightmares Codename: Kingdoms Forza Motorsport 4 X-COM Gun Loco Haunt The First Templar Mechwarrior 5 The Secrete World Gray Matter Divinity II: Ego Draconis Phantom Breaker
That's the 360's list of core games. Some games have Kinect support but it isn't required to play. That's 16 games. The PS3 has 21 exclusives slated for 2011 (24 if you count rehashed PS2 "collections" to make up for the fact that the system lacks PS2 Backwards compatibility). That's not slaughtering. Not even close. You along with every other PS3 fanboy has been making it seem like there is only one exclusive title for the 360 next year and that's it.
And let's be realistic here. There is a huge possibility that alot of the games for both 360 and PS3 will be delayed until 2012. If all of those games release next year then the sales figures would be really segregated and then Sony/MS will be very sad pandas .
Oh and like MLD said, let's not forget that the 360 still has a sizeable lead in terms of 70+ rated games. I don't think the 360 has anything to worry about .

No Assassin's Creed III will rape everything
Assassins Creed III won't come out in 2011. The series is actually being worked on, unlike one milked military shooter franchise.

Ubisoft have said that there will be an Assassin's Creed game next year. A good guess would be Assassin's Creed III since a lot of the core AC2 team did not work on Brotherhood so I would assume that they are working on AC3 and Brotherhood simultaneously.
