I feel sorry for him... I sounds more like he have never even seen Crysis in action... My PC, was built with the hype for Crysis in the late 2006. With a pricetag of around 10k Swedish Kronor (~1000€ ~$1100) Its equal to a 250€ PC today... you can get a PC running Crysis running on high with a PC cheaper then a PS3...

It will run Crysis in beyond 1080p, in over 36 FPS with 2x AA. Now for anyone that have played Crysis know that the animations and textures are awesome... just running around looking at the perfectly animated wildlife.

Crysis is beyond any PS3/360 game... Crysis 2 is a downgraded version for the consoles.

A fact is that Crysis looks better then any console game. To be honest with you this current generation of consoles cant run half the game. This is why Cryengine3 is a downgraded version for the consoles, but upgraded to the PC.

Anyone that says that any of this generation of videogames looks better then Crysis should consider to stop gaming... They do not know what they are talking about. You are just as dumb as the father of playstation... 1080p with 120 fps my ass Razz

Honestly Crysis will probably still look better than Reach. In the chance the Bungie blows us away (very likely), Crysis 2 will come out and that will hold the crown for another 4-5 years.

Well it was in 2006 I believe when Crysis came out, so there was alot of improvement in the years between games, and I have played and beaten both and the KZ2 AI did seem better.

But I half agree with him, in the overall scheme of the game the big picture of Crysis looks amazing and has yet to be beat. But the tiny details like gun models and such look better in KZ2

Yeah, you can run it on high, and barely get 30FPS (if that) on a PC cheaper than a PS3.... Even if you run about $700USD to build a mid-tier PC, you'll still barely get 35FPS on high.... Then again, the machine mentioned in that post might just barely run it on high at all. Gonna need me a parts list here.

Are you attempting to imply that Crysis isn't part of the the 7th generation? Also.... Might wanna recheck your facts there. Crysis is running on Cryengine 2, not 3. And on another note... Not even the best PC available (Which would be a combo of an i7-975 Extreme and AT LEAST 2 Radeon HD5890s in Crossfire and a minimum of 6GB of 1333MHz DDR3 triple channel (that'll run you a good $3500USD at least)) can run it in 1080p on high at more than 80fps.... The average gaming PC chokes like hell on Crysis and usually only averages a horridly unplayable 15fps.
