UE 3 tech engine: Likely how Gears of War 3 will look!

Gears of War 3 is as Epic to me as Halo is to many, Halo & Gears is jst pure awesome gaming in the one and the same gaming realm that is the XBOX 360.

Was that real-time?? When did they release this vid? Holy crap!! And those screen shots are gorgeous!! Reminds me of UC except with better textures.

The video is outdated i think, its from last year.
The SS however are from GDC 2010

Yeah, heard that too, that the video is old.

Screenshots are indeed from GDC, and look awesome. And it's quite possible that it's in Gears 3 or that they will use these jungle environments, since in the novels, if I recall, the humans move to a tropical island.

the video is a fan made video..and those screens are good

I hope so. It would be funny to hear ps3 fanboys say for the first time "err actually graphics don't matter"

look great i can't wait but gears 3 should come out when an new xbox system is made like halo 3 was

I thought myself that they would release a new console in about 2 years but after reading an article recently it totally opened my eyes to how its not likely, considering alot of people still dont have HDTV's , the price of developing games on a new, more powerful console and how much to develope said console.

i read the article it makes a lot of sense, i get what u mean now, because natal will be the next xbox because how new it will be and we've seen the true and fully power of the 360

That looks impressive. If history repeats itself then those improvements will be in Gears 3! Gears 3 will look amazing.
