i think this is bs terrible list halo should be 3 while mario and zelda are 1 and 2 because they're the most classic and made gaming what it is today. also why is guitar hero or kill zone even their

Halo deserves the top spot. Mario and Zelda are old hat.

in today's world yes but mario has been here since the 80's and he's the mascot of gaming. also halo is kinda new it came in 2001 and halo only has 6 games, but i respect your opinion i don't like mario that much but the 6th spot is low 4 what it has done

I grew up on Mario, Sonic, and the rest, but Halo is the ultimate in gaming greatness.

The ones that matter to us:

1.Halo > 5.Metal Gear
8.Gears of War > 20.Final Fantasy (they got most of the series) + 27.LittleBigPlanet
28.Saints Row (we got the first game) > 33.KillZone
35.Left 4 Dead > 38.Gran Turismo + 40.Ratchet & Clank

So while the games we have are quite a bit better than theirs, they have more on the list...for some ....reason....

what the hell is runescape doing on that list

Yep Halo definitely deserves the top spot.

Maybe they have more because playstation came a generation before the xbox, the list was suppose to be the top 50 SERIES and yet LittleBigPlanet is there. The people that voted were just voting for their favorite game and not their favorite series. Metal Gear gets number one spot for me.

I think KZ should be on there, I loved KZ. Campaign and MP. Despite people thinking it is "generic" there was never a moment of boredom in that campaign. But I really dont agree with this list. Halo is good but number 1? No, maybe 3.

I hate to break the bad news, but Halo is too hyped. I never was hyped about the series, but that may be because I only played #3 so I really can't judge Halo... never liked zelda and Mario WAS great. Its 2010. Mario is now 60 years old. lol How can he jump without breaking his back? What a Face

I don't know. I think BC2 should be on top, but thats just my opinion. So don't get mad about my opinion because I respect all of yours.
