| I was on vgchartz the other day and noticed that the first week (2 days) sales for alan wake was 88,000 units. I know its only the European sales and it does not include the american sales number but still 88,000 is pretty low. The game is amazing and needs more sales i suggest you guys to pick this game up because similar to mass effect or uncharted 2 its a game you need to experience. Hope its pull of 200k or more units in american sales.

| if a game reaches over the 1m mark its classed as a success. the problem was the release date, so many games in May it was silly, one or two were bound to suffer. | |

| I would've bought it, I hyped it up so much and was dying to get it and I still am. But why haven't I got it yet?
Because I want to get Red Dead Redemption.
That's the only reason. Also because I'm in an exam period and am trying not to play games so much but the main reason is Red Dead.
So I am going to get AW eventually but I'm sure a lot of other people are in the same boat as me, wanted to get it but were more hyped about RDR.

| I've read at Eurogamer that the game is actually selling strong in Europe, in countries like Germany and Holland for example. | |

| You need to rephrase you post.
Alan Wake sold 88,000 units over 2 days, not one week as it was released on a Friday in Europe. Plus we haven't got NA sales figures yet.
