I don't really see any real reason on why they would port it to the PC.

Halo is a game that can sell XBOX 360 unlike say Fable? I don't see it coming to the PC anytime soon.

It's been out on 360 for like 2.5 years or something? Why would they release it suddenly on pc such a long time after it's been out on a console it was made for?

At this point MS makes it's money on Xbox 360 and Xbox Live. They really have no reason to port Halo 3 or Reach.
