Gears was never a trilogy,its people making things up since there are a lot of supposed trilogies out there. They can end this story and begin another one for gears 4.

True,but it was the "finish the fight" of the Human/Covenan war.Is the flood fully defeated?Nope,they will be back.But that will be a another war.Look at it like starwars.Starwars has two trilogies.The first trilogy(timeline wise) was the Clone Wars,teh second trilogy was the Galatic Civil War
