Well it's Sony ONLINE, so they've got to release it on something, making it run on a MAC and not on a PC would hinder profits drastically.

Its quite possible. Epic announced that their Unreal Engine 4 will be ready for 2012 for " the next gen of consoles". Why would they release the Engine then if there was no platform to run it? Bar the PC.
