PS3 vs Xbox 360 upcoming exclusives/console exclusives

For 2011+



The only games on that get counted on this list are are:

X360 only games, X360/PC only games; PS3 only games, PS3/PC only games.
I don't count intentional timed exclusives, I don't count "Next-Gen" exclusives (for example: Perfect Dark, GOW collections) , I don't count any of that. I don't count games that are put on "hold". I don't count games that are already released on different platforms/regions but are coming to a specific region/platform. This is not an MLD style list.

Why X360/PC or PS3/PC? Because the PC isn't a console platform. It's an open platform with gaming as an App. Hence why these games are called "Console Exclusives". Another exception is that PS3/PSP games (like LBP) would count since the PSP is also not a console platform.

PS3 has 12 upcoming 2011+ games vs 10 X360 games. So it's not a huge gap.

Virtua Tennis for the PS3, I'm not sure. I think it's move compatible, but you can use the controller. But, it's casual shit, so you can take it off anyway

I'm counting Virtua Tennis 4 and Sorcery because they are still games directed at the hardcore audience despite being built around motion controls.

I mean that's like saying Metriod and Super Mario Galaxy on Wii are for casuals since they uses motion controls.

Honestly, I didn't know if they were hardcore or not. I just saw that they were on the Kinect upcoming game list. So I automatically crossed them off as casual. My fault. I've seen Virtua Tennis 4, hardcore? I guess if you take it seriously.

Virtua Tennis is open for debate. IMO it's a core game, just not an amazingly difficult one.

Dynasty Warriors 7 is going to be a PS3 exclusive. Also you can include Heroes on the Move, Splinter Cell Trilogy, Prince of Persia Trilogy, Team ICO Collection, and Mortal Kombat: HD Collection for PS3. Also, White Knight Chronicles 2, Ni no Kuni, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Yakuza of the End are PS3 exclusives.

I imagine "2011+" means 2011 and beyond.

DC Universe and the other PS3 MMOs, Agent, untitled game by Guerilla Games unrelated to killzone, untitled game from Naughty Dog(most likely Uncharted 3), Ape Escape, Sly Collection, MLB 11 the show, and Journey.

WKC 2 is already released in Japan, and it's region free.

I'm not counting any remakes or collections of last gen titles. Especially when they are largely the same except with better graphics.

FFXIII versus, Ni no Kuni, Heroes on the Move, and Yakuza of the End will be accepted.
