Yes,that is why both Killzone and Resistance have gotten "weak story and unmemorable characters" in there reviews while Halo gets "very deep and interesting story" in its reviews.

Killzone story just plain sucks.It is very weak.It is another generic "Faction vs Faction" war story.And every ISA character is an asshole that makes you wonder why they are the good guys.I admit,I liked Resistance story though

Halo's story is very strong.And an entire loyal fanbase composed of millions agree with me.Hell,each Halo novel has gotten "best seller" on it.

Whether you like Halo's story or not,you cant logically say its bad.It is proven to be very good.But im not saying you have to like it,that is just your oppinion

Imo, either LBP2 or SMG2 will get most GotY awards.

I'm leaning to LBP2, though, because of how innovative it is. Not to say SMG2 isn't a fantastic game, but it's, more or less, more of the same game as SMG.

Also, anyone who thinks they'd be made fun of for playing this due to being called gay is most likely very insecure about their sexuality. Protip: A female would rather see you playing this or Mario rather than Halo or Killzone. Just sayin'

Killzone should improve its story though...

Resistance, Halo, and Killzone all have similar stories told in different ways that each have their strengths and weaknesses. I prefer Killzone's story over all of them as I think it has an awesome backstory and the best atmosphere. I find Resistance and Halo to both be a bit more boring as the humans are attacked simply because they're humans, whereas in KZ there is motivation for the two factions to do what they do. But they each definitely have their interesting parts of the story.

Now, Twilight, on the other hand...

All 3 of them actually have very different stories

I meant that when generalized, they are similar. For both Resistance and Halo, you can say "hurr alianz invade n u defend teh worldz!!1"(and for KZ1). Note this is the most bare generalization.

But yes, the actual stories and the way they're told are quite different. Otherwise I wouldn't have a distinct preference

In a very general way Halo and Resistance have similar stories, humans vs aliens, but in Killzone atleast it is human vs human (well, somewhat human lol, i still consider them human). Out of all three though, Resistance is my favorite, then KZ then Halo.

lol, there are books, comics and animes becase there are millions of fans, and they know alot of them are going to buy the book LOL fail (plus they are poorly wirten)

and there are fans becase it was the first good fps on consule, with good contrals. and the gamplay not story.

LOL bugie even admits that the gameplay and the levels are put togeth before the story is even thought about lol!!

Opinions, you guys. God damn. I think Halo's mediocre in general. Who cares? It's not my style of game and I don't care about the story. Is this relevant to anything? No. Just drop the god damn subject, this is a LBP2 thread.

In a very general way Halo and Resistance have similar stories, humans vs aliens, but in Killzone atleast it is human vs human (well, somewhat human lol, i still consider them human). But in Halo they are attacking simply cause they are human, in Resistance they are attacking because the Chimera are trying to take back Earth, they had it controlled before they were almost wiped out and then humans started. Out of all three though, Resistance is my favorite, then KZ then Halo.
