It's not about going back on what you say, it's about the order of events that occur. Seriously, what's wrong with you? Don't you see that it's hypocricy at minimum? Can't you just accept that ps3 fanboys' are in the wrong because they treated it as an advantage and now that they don't have it they dismiss it and act as If they never cared for it? No, see, now you're 100% correct.
It IS hypocrisy, not a contradiction.
You are almost correct. You have it the wrong way around. It is a contradiction, but not hypocrisy. They bragged about it before, but then after a few events they act as if it was never that great in the first place. Hypocrisy is someone who says they believe in honesty, but lie and steal. Contradiction however could be when you plan a schedule to be at a a certain place at a certain time, but then some event happens that contradicts your schedule and you must cancel the meeting/occasion. They are being contradicting, but not really hypocritical because they weren't in control over Linux's termination in the first place.

They are being contradicting, but not really hypocritical because they weren't in control over Linux's termination in the first place. That's called a "conflicting" situation. Things "conflict" with your schedule... - Quote :

1.
The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness. PS3 Fanboys professed belief that Linux was a useful item despite not utilizing it (possessing it). Then when it was removed...they confirm that it was useless because they didn't use it (posses it). Thanks.

Manipulating words isn't very difficult. The Sky is blue... at night it's black. Doesn't make the first statement false, does it? No. It's about the ORDER in which the events take place.... as I've already stated. Your definition of contradiction has already confirmed that it can't be a contradiction. No word manipulation is going to change that.

Your definition of contradiction has already confirmed that it can't be a contradiction. No word manipulation is going to change that. Actually yes, the first statement is indeed false. The sky isn't blue. It appears blue during the daylight, but sometimes it also appears white. And during sunset or sunrise it can appear orange, red, yellow, or a mixture of those. And if you want to get technical...the sky isn't really blue. So yes, your argument has been torn asunder.

| Dude, that's not a good comparison. Linux didn't change. In fact, order doesn't influence anything in this context. For example, if ps3 had no Linux then suddenly got it they would say what a great new feature it is and rub it in how 360 doesn't have it but if they don't have it, no matter what order, we rub it in that they lost their "amazing" feature and they say, "oh it's nothing. We didn't like it" well even if that statement were true then it means the original statement, that it's a great feature wasn't, therefore either way they lied about one or the other. | |

| Ok guys. I changed the context of the topic to end the pointless argument over semantics.
Whoever started the argument can now remove the stick from their ass and get back on track making fun of stupid PS3 fantards who are the pariahs of the internet and deserve universal disdain from the rest of humanity. They are, after all, the worst fanboys in the history of fanboys, making them worse than Super-Hitler. If you can't look past a grammatical error on our side of the console war I suggest you take a course on, "Not being a prat", at your local community college.
