Split Second has a 7gig mandatory install for PS3 version

So, that being said, you may not have "mandatory installs", but the disc-swap will always hang around your heads.

You didn't say that when you had to disc-swap Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9. Not to metion installing game on the ps3, downloading updates takes ages.

Yeah, you can upgrade the PS3 HDD, I have seen some up to 1TB for like 100 bucks. That is one thing I like about the PS3.

It is not any of the mods fault that the mistake was made. The article clearly at first stated 7GB and corrected their mistake. There were no lies spread at all.
But the size of the install is beside the point. With all the power that the PS3 fanboys claim, the Blu-Ray still has a distinctive weakness and its that it's read size cannot compete with the XBOX 360 and DVD in order to provide a playable experience.

The game will be shipped on Six Blu-Ray discs that must be swapped every two minutes throughout the five hour install. "We wanted to make sure PS3 fans don't leave and make a sandwich or anything. We want them to sit through the whole thing and regret being PS3 fanboys".
