XBOX Live isn't always $50 per year. If you go to Amazon.com or Slickdeals.net, most of the time they have it for cheaper.

Amazon currently for $40.
Slickdeals.net doesn't have the deal right now but might have it in the future.
Also Best Buy does sometimes sell 13 month cards for $30.

Yea, I'm considering buying cards instead of just doing it over XBL, which is $50.

lol I almost never pay for XbL.
I only ever play online when I'm dying for it.
I was the same with World Of Warcraft. I refused to play on anything other than the private (free)server. lol
But when I'm on live like now *thanks to generalmld* then I do realise how much I've missed out on.

I suppose I should save up one day and buy a year of live. lol
