Fixed that for you.
Really, a "slim" Xbox is out of the question.

And why would you think that?

All signs point to a 360 redesign at E3.
I know for certain that there is going to be a redesigned 360 with MS cleaning out their inventory of Arcade models with these bundles.
But a smaller model? As if overheating issues weren't bad enough just think about how bad they will be with a smaller box.

Except smaller chip technology and combining the chips makes it generate less heat by using less energy, take up less space on the motherboard, and makes cooling it easier and more efficient.

That's why it will be smaller, cooler, and better in every way. Unlike the PS3 Slime which dumped features left and right to get smaller.

Yeah, because Microsoft never drops the price and in turn removes features and accessories, right? Kind of like when the Xbox Arcade dropped to $199 and didn't come with a headset, network cable and HD AV Cables like it used to when it first released, right?

Microsoft is guilty of the same bullshit as Sony is.
I Agree about the accessories but what console features did MS remove?

Accessories are features in their own regard. When they release the product, people often refer to it as "The Xbox 360 Arcade bundle features x, xx, aba, etc..."

I didn't specifically mean an actual software/hardware feature inside the console.

Clearly you didn't watch my last vid. PS3 hasn't been the cheapest BLu ray option in almost 2 years, and GOW3's sales are kicking the shit out of Mass Effect 2 in a third of the time. Also, that piece of shit FFXIII is outselling the fuck out of the 360 version, even if you remove the exclusives sales the PS3 version has in Japan. In fact, if GOW3 continues to sell the way its selling, it will likely surpass the sales of both GOW1 and GOW2, which were on the PS2 with a higher userbase.

If all you have is God of War 3 then that's what you'll buy. What else does the PS3 have that's new and worth playing? Mod Nation Racers? lol. As for FFXIII, I guess PS3 fanboys are dumber or can't help themselves becuase they've always bought every shiity RPG square makes. Why would we buy a linear melodramatic RPG with mediocre reviews like FFVIII when we have the far superior Mass Effect series? But then that doesn't factor into your fanboy lifestyle so you probably never thought about it.

The point I made is Xbox 360 owners don't care about God of War 3 nor do they care about FFXIII. We have countless amazing games to play and we actually BUY and PLAY them. God of War 3 and PS3 FFVIII sales are a fluke based o rabid fanboys, but they don't' have any hope of coming close to Halo sales or even Call of Duty. If PS3 fans are proud of God of War 3 sales, we should just laugh at them for being silly.

Oh and Heavy Rain isn't even a real game.

Once again, you don't make any sense at all with your claims.

Either PS3 owners don't buy and play games or they do.

The fact you keep contradicting yourself with this is getting retarded.

Also, they don't have hope of coming close to Halo sales? What? Gran Turismo Prologue sold 5.5+ Million copies with 50% of the install base the PS3 now has... How well did Halo Wars and Halo ODST sell COMBINED in comparison? Less? Thought so.

What do you think is going to happen with double the install base when Gran Turismo 5 releases later this year? It's going to sell 10+ million (just like ALL GT full releases sell).

The problem with you is that you just choose to pick and choose what is convenient for your argument instead of actually looking at the REALITY of the situation as an actual GAMER.

Well they did add on the HDMI slot. But it doesn't make much of a difference since it doesn't play true 1080p

Yes it does, there are just very few games that use the feature.

The 360 is doing very well compared to the PS3 which had a price cut an RE-LAUNCH of it's system. Now when it's the 360's turn to get a re-launch and price cut then we will see if the 360 can hold it's lead against the PS3. If nothing changes then the PS3 will slowly pass the 360 taking the once dominate Sony 5 years to beat the system no one ever though had a chance 360.

Hahaha, the same could be said about when Halo 3 came out. And why should I think about Mass Effect, regardless of quality? By MLD's own standards Mass Effect didn't sell worth a shit, but then again, neither did Halo DOST, Halo Wars, Forza 3, SPlinter Cell: Conviction, Lost Odyssey, etc etc etc.

Meanwhile Little Big PLanet, which MLD did did a very effective troll vid on today, has sold as well or better than every exclusive 360 game after Gears 2. Gran Tourismo 5 Prologue, which is a demo yet ODST was a full game, outsold Forza 3. And MLD thinks GT5 is a fail because its been in development for 5 years but Alan Wake, a AA game, was in development for almost six and he considers its "almost as good as Uncharted" which took 2 years to develop, a win against the effectiveness of the cell? LOL

LOL

1. LBP has been bundled before
2. Prologue has been bundled before
3. ODST was an expansion
4. Vgchartz is inaccurate as of now as they haven't changed the numbers for the ODST/Forza 3 bundle.

PS3 dumbasses, Prologue has been bundled before just like Motorstorm and LBP and inFamous/Batman AA, and a couple others. So that argument is irrelevant.

Definitely. Because a large amount of PS3's are used solely as Blu-Ray players compared to just about every XBOX 360 used as a gaming console.
This is evident by the sales of multiplatform games and also the PS3 exclusives which also fail to live up to the sales of the 360 exclusives.

ODST (a $60 expansion) sold more in 48 hours (2 million) than Uncharted 2 did in its first month (500k, October NPD). ODST has sold around 5 million units to date. Halo Wars sales approaching 2 million. Are you still saying that ODST didn't sell shit?

So give him a warning. If he wants to praise the PS3, do it in the Sony section or take it to another website.

Sony has no chance of selling nearly 6 million more consoles than Microsoft before the end of this generation.

I read somewhere the PS3 outsold 360 by 4 million units last year worldwide. At that rate, it could take the #2 spot by 2012. I don't think Microsoft has a choice but to release a 360 slim and package it with Natal. A price cut wouldn't hurt either.

Everyone who was waiting for a price drop on the PS3 already has a PS3 now. The PS3 has already slowed to the point that the Xbox 360 and it are selling at about the same rate. There is nothing more Sony can do to sell faster without losing even more money. MS on the other hand has Natal, Slim 360, and Halo all coming out this fall. It's going to be a sales explosion and will destroy Sony and leave a sales gap the PS3 will never be able to recover from.

PS3 is actually turning a profit now. It's something like $5, but they're not loosing money anymore. If Microsoft does relaunch with a slim model bundled with Natal; then Sony will have to, at the very least, start bundling a couple games with the console. And by next year, bundle Move as well. Things are going to start getting heavy this holiday.

As the above poster stated, Sony has been turning a profit on the PS3 since March. They're expecting a 1 Billion Yen profit by the end of the next fiscal year.

As for "the same rate," that's only for North America. In Japan, the PS3 is still outselling the 360 by a significant margin and if it continues to outsell the 360 in Japan by 1-2 million every year, then it's going to be very difficult for Microsoft to keep its sales lead for the next couple of years.
