Accessories are features in their own regard. When they release the product, people often refer to it as "The Xbox 360 Arcade bundle features x, xx, aba, etc..."

I didn't specifically mean an actual software/hardware feature inside the console.

The point I made is Xbox 360 owners don't care about God of War 3 nor do they care about FFXIII. We have countless amazing games to play and we actually BUY and PLAY them. Well they did add on the HDMI slot. But it doesn't make much of a difference since it doesn't play true 1080p

Yes it does, there are just very few games that use the feature.

The 360 is doing very well compared to the PS3 which had a price cut an RE-LAUNCH of it's system. Now when it's the 360's turn to get a re-launch and price cut then we will see if the 360 can hold it's lead against the PS3. If nothing changes then the PS3 will slowly pass the 360 taking the once dominate Sony 5 years to beat the system no one ever though had a chance 360.

And MLD thinks GT5 is a fail because its been in development for 5 years but Alan Wake, a AA game, was in development for almost six and he considers its "almost as good as Uncharted" which took 2 years to develop, a win against the effectiveness of the cell? 1. LBP has been bundled before
2. Prologue has been bundled before
3. ODST was an expansion
4. Vgchartz is inaccurate as of now as they haven't changed the numbers for the ODST/Forza 3 bundle.

ODST (a $60 expansion) sold more in 48 hours (2 million) than Uncharted 2 did in its first month (500k, October NPD). ODST has sold around 5 million units to date. Halo Wars sales approaching 2 million. Are you still saying that ODST didn't sell shit?

As for the past year, Sony is only outselling by mere thousands. In fact in the US, the biggest gaming market, most months sales are the same or favor the Xbox 360. Sony has no chance of selling nearly 6 million more consoles than Microsoft before the end of this generation.

I read somewhere the PS3 outsold 360 by 4 million units last year worldwide. At that rate, it could take the #2 spot by 2012. I don't think Microsoft has a choice but to release a 360 slim and package it with Natal. A price cut wouldn't hurt either.

PS3 had a very good year last year,but that doesnt mean they will have it every year.People dont seem to realize that.360 can pull off a great year this year and sell like 4 million more than ps3 like ps3 did to 360 last year.Who knows

Everyone who was waiting for a price drop on the PS3 already has a PS3 now. The PS3 has already slowed to the point that the Xbox 360 and it are selling at about the same rate. There is nothing more Sony can do to sell faster without losing even more money. MS on the other hand has Natal, Slim 360, and Halo all coming out this fall. It's going to be a sales explosion and will destroy Sony and leave a sales gap the PS3 will never be able to recover from.

PS3 is actually turning a profit now. It's something like $5, but they're not loosing money anymore. If Microsoft does relaunch with a slim model bundled with Natal; then Sony will have to, at the very least, start bundling a couple games with the console. And by next year, bundle Move as well. Things are going to start getting heavy this holiday.

As the above poster stated, Sony has been turning a profit on the PS3 since March. They're expecting a 1 Billion Yen profit by the end of the next fiscal year.

As for "the same rate," that's only for North America. In Japan, the PS3 is still outselling the 360 by a significant margin and if it continues to outsell the 360 in Japan by 1-2 million every year, then it's going to be very difficult for Microsoft to keep its sales lead for the next couple of years.
